South Indian
South Indian cuisines are perhaps the spiciest of all Indian food. Meals are centred around rice-based dishes, which involves curried vegetables, curried meat and a host of coconut-based chutneys and poppadoms. This is also the region which is famous for the South indian filter coffee.
East Indian
This region is most renowned for their unrivaled love for sweets and deserts. Some of the most popular and world-famous sweets are of Eastern Indian origins. Simple is the key word for most food here, and preparations are not elaborate. Steaming and frying are the most popular methods of cooking dishes.

West Indian
The most diverse styles of food are found in this region.
Gujarat cuisines are slightly sweet and are traditionally entirely vegetarian. A meal can consist of as many as 10 different vegetable dishes eat together with rice, chapati and sweets.

Here’s what our students have to say about us:
This was a wonderful cooking class! Prior to my session with the instructor, I had tried my hand at Indian cooking a few times, but would always struggle with the spices. The instructor provided a great tutorial on effective and inventive spice use, and de-mystified at lot of what was intimidating to me. It broke down the barrier that I had always struggle to ge through when attempting Indian food.
Cooking with the instructor was an amazing experience. She not only showed us cooking techniques that help simplify what would have been a complicated process, but also explained to us why we were doing what we were doing. Her enthusiasm for the science behind the cooking was so refreshing to see!
The instructor was such a wonderful host and cook. She took time to explain every little detail about Indian cooking and fully immersed us into the culture. It was such a memorable experience learning how to create delicious, authentic food with her. It also did not hurt that the chicken tikka masala that she taught us to cook tasted out of this world!
